Huge new freebie kit!

The Scrappy Kat has teamed up with Seal Scraps and Scrapalicious Cereal to make a new kit and they are all offering their kits free this week! All you have to do is stop by their blogs each day this week to pick up a part of their kits. Monday you will get the papers, Tuesday you will get the elements, Wednesday the alphas and Thursday freebie quick pages and brag book pages. What a deal!

Now admittedly when I first saw this kit called Le Petit Poodle, I thought huh, what can I do with this kit? This kit is in honor of one of The Scrappy Kat's creative team members who had a poodle that unfortunately passed away. The reason I had no idea what to do with this kit is that I really greatly dislike dogs! So when I saw a dog kit I just didn't know what to do. I loved the colors in the kit though. Well lucky for me, these kits are packed full of papers and elements that are NOT dog related so I could scrap pictures that had nothing to do with dogs. Once I started to play with it, I liked it more and more. Here's a preview of The Scrappy Kat's portion of this kit.

Looking at the preview you may see a lot of dog elements and if that isn't your thing, don't worry! Look at the layouts I made with portions of all three of the kits. The second layout was made for the Scrap What? challenge at Stuff to Scrap. The challenge was to scrap "things you find in your..." JJ had completely the challenge and posted a layout about people she found in her cupboards and that gave me the idea to scrap where I find my children!

If I do say so myself, they turned out gorgeous and no dogs in sight! I just love all the alphas! So head on over to visit The Scrappy Kat , Seal Scraps and Scrapalicious Cereal to pick up all three of these kits. I actually made the first layout into a template for all of you as a freebie. I wanted to create a paper blocking layout and I found it easier to make as a template first! Aren't you all lucky? Here's the preview of the template.

Click HERE to download it. I'd love to see what you do with it.
