Another new kit from ME!

Today I'd like to introduce you to another kit that I have in my store. But before I do that, I want to tell you that I'm having a CT Call! Check out the flyer for more details. Please apply! I've had no one apply yet :( I'm waiting for all of you to send me an email to be a part of my team!

Onto my kit. In order for me to become a designer a Stuff to Scrap, I had to create a mini kit with a given palette. I chose flying a kite as the theme for my mini kit. Once I was accepted as a designer I made my mini kit into a full size kit. Here's "Let's Go Fly A Kite."

I made cordesponding cardstocks too.

I had some of the STS designers be my guest CTs for this kit. Look at the amazing layouts that they came up with!

I made my LO into a freebie QP for you. Here's a look at the preview.

Paisleys and Polka Dots and a few speed scraps

I have been drooling over Jacabean Designs' kit called Paisleys and Polka Dots for a long time. I just love the colors! I finally broke down and worked with it because it was the perfect kit for a hybrid project that I was working on for the Hybrid Challenge at Brownie Scraps. But before I show you my hybrid photo, here's a look at the kit which is currently 30% off and has been all month. I don't know when the sale ends but I would assume at the end of July so you should go get the kit right now!!!

Isn't it gorgeous! Just so you know I used the add on that Jacabean Designs had on her blog a while back in my layouts so not all pieces that you see on my layouts can be found in the kit.

Here's my hybrid project. The challenge at Brownie Scraps was to take a frame and create something to put in it. Ramona's example was a menu and I loved that idea. My husband isn't so keen on it but who cares! I can write on the class what we're having for dinner every night (so that I don't have to figure out daily what we are having) and then wipe it off at the end of the week. Cool, huh?

My layout is the last Pile It On Challenge for the Family Reunion that Brownie Scraps has been having. I've been hosting several events and it's been keeping me busy. We're almost nearing the end of our reunion so if you haven't checked it out, you have just a few more days to play along!

There are 2 speed scraps coming up at Stuff to Scrap soon. It's been a while since we've had one. There are 3 within 5 days!

There's a speed scrap tonight hosted by one of the new designers, Pixel Me That Designs. Here's the flyer for more details and a look at the participation prize.

Come on over to the STS forum for a Speed Scrap this Saturday. The participation prize is a kit with coordinating cardstock and glitter from Scraps by Andrea. Dana aka danajscraps will be hosting and it's sure to be a great time!

Flyer is linked to the forum.

Come to a speed scrap Monday, August 2nd! The participation prize is a template pack. If you use one of the templates and upload it to SAHM Scrapper's gallery by the end of the week, you will be entered in to win a $5 gift card to her store!! See you there!

Have You Noticed?

Have you noticed a new blinkie I have on my sidebar? The top one? That's right! I'm now a designer at Stuff to Scrap. I've been there for a couple weeks now but I'm just now ready to announce my store opening! I've got 2 full kits in there right now plus a mini kit. I'm almost done with another full kit that I should be releasing sometime in the first week of August.

The first kit that I want to share with you is "Natalie's Flowers." You've probably seen it before because it was a speed scrap participation prize. Well I made an add on that includes more solid papers, more elements and a full alpha. Natalie's Flowers is just $2.99! Natalie's Flowers Add On is just $1.99! So you can get this full kit for under $5! I kept them separate because I know I lot of people got the bigger kit at the speed scrap and I wanted to give them an opportunity to buy the add on if they so desired.

I had some talented scrappers help me out and create layouts showcasing these 2 kits. Here's what they came up with.

I made a cluser frame freebie for you. I hope you like it so much that you'll head over to my store to pick up Natalie's Flowers and Natalie's Flowers Add On.

Scraps by Andrea has returned to designing after her maternity leave and her first new kit is "Happily Ever After." It's a kit full of fairy tale elements like a princess, castle and more. The colors are so fun! Here's a look at this kit. There are also coordinating glitters and cardstocks. You can get each part separately or the whole bundle together.

Here are a couple layouts that I made. This kit works so well for newborn baby pictures plus many other pictures!

New Releases!

I've got 3 kits to tell you about today! I have another new kit to tell you about tomorrow. My CT bosses have been busy and keeping me busy! One of the new kits is a fun beach and pool kit (so really a swimming kit) called "Soak It Up!" It's a kit by Gettin Scrappy with Britt. The colors are fun and bright in blues, orange and pink. It works well for either boys or girls or both. The kit is 50% off in honor of Britt's birthday. This sale will run from 12:00 pm Monday to 12:00 pm Tuesday. I assume this is MST. Here's a look at the kit.

Here are my layouts. I really had fun working with the waves and the water elements.

I even made a freebie for you! It's a cluster frame. I know my preview says word art but there's no word art, it's a cluster frame freebie. Sorry about that.

You can download it here. Don't forget to grab Soak It Up! while it's 50% off!

Another new kit out today is by Digi Designs by Nicole called "Making Memories." I read on Nicole's blog that she was inspired by the colors in a shower curtain! Inspiration comes from so many different places! Here's a look at this kit.
Here are my layouts. The first one I did for the template challenge at Stuff to Scrap. The template is by Shel Belle Scraps.

I made another freebie for you! It's another cluster frame. This preview says word art too but it's not word art, it's a cluster frame. Nicole has a freebie add on to this kit on her blog. So download by freebie HERE and then go to Nicole's blog for her freebie.
The third kit I have to tell you about is a collab by The Scrappy Kat and Digital Scrap Fun. The kit is called "Whistle While You Work" and it's a kit about doing chores. Digital Scrap Fun's portion also has a chore chart template included. This could be a fun hybrid project and get your kids a schedule for doing chores! Mine are perhpas a little too young for a chore chart! Here's a look at The Scrappy Kat's portion of this kit.
Here are my layouts. The first layout I made for the font challenge at Stuff to Scrap. I made the second one for a speed scrap. The Scrappy Kat made a freebie paper back to go along with this kit which you can pick up in her store HERE.

Freebie QP

I have my second freebie QP using a kit from Digital Scrap Cafe. This time I worked with a kit by Pixelily Designs called "Over The Rainbow." I just love rainbow colors so I was drawn to this new kit. Here's a look at it. Here's a layout I made using this kit.

Here's the freebie QP preview. If you'll notice my layout has 2 pictures but the QP only has one. You can use the space for just one picture or you can merge 2 pictures together for the space.

You can download this freebie QP HERE. This freebie will only be available for 1 week only.
