I have no new releases to tell you about today but I figure I should blog because my sister might call me up and tell me I haven't blogged :) AND I better blog about layouts because that's what she likes to see! I do have one tiny bit of business to tell you about. There's a speed scrap at Stuff to Scrap tomorrow and it's hosted by Manda Lane Scraps. The participation prize will be a coupon to her store.
Here are some layouts I made this weekend during the {inter}National Digital Scrapbook Day festivities. This first one was for the photography challenge at Stuff to Scrap. We had to take photos that weren't so good and somehow make them better. The top left photo and the middle photo had some steam issues and I almost deleted them until I saw this challenge. I ran some actions on them and now they look great! This kit is Splish Splash by SAHM Scrapper.
This layout was made for the CU layout challenge at Sugar Hill Co. We had to scrap a layout using ONLY CU items from their store. So that meant that I had to design while I was scrapping. I used various items by Miss Tiina and the flowers and leaves are from Just Jaimee. I'm very excited because I won the contest and won $50! So excited! I also love the colors so maybe I'll make a kit with these colors. Who knows?
This layout was made for the Use It or Lose it challenge. Scraps by Andrea provided a mini kit and we had to use all the pieces in it to make a layout. There were a lot of pieces so this was a challenge! The colors work so perfectly for winter layouts.
This layout was made for the Progressive Scraplift Challenge. The hostess provided a layout and then someone scraplifted it. Then someone scraplifted their scraplift and so on. This is what I came up with. I also used it for the font challenge at Sugar Hill Co. I used MTF Jumpin' Jack. The kit is Bliss of Both by Jenasis Designs.
We also had a recipe challenge where we had to scrap a favorite holiday recipe and all of us who participated will get the recipe cards! I used my kit, Delicious Autumn, for this recipe card.
This layout was for the template challenge. Template is by Jensen Motley Crew Designs and the kit is I Whaley Love You by HD Creations. I love this picture of my daughter and her cousin!
And finally, here's a layout I made a while ago for the Word of the Week challenge at Stuff to Scrap. The word was "cuddle." This kit is Dear Mom by Scraps by Andrea.
Phew, that's a lot of LOs! Hope you liked looking at them!
New layouts, yay! I LOVE the one of Natalie and Megan!
