Birthday Coming Up and Speed Scraps

Stuff to Scrap is turning 2 in the month of May so we're celebrating ALL MONTH LONG!!!  Each day during the month of May a freebie will be offered on the STS blog by one of our wonderful designers.  There will be 2 different progressive scraps going on (you'll need to go to designers' blogs to find the steps). Little Red Wagon

Seal Scraps has a great kit in her store called Little Red Wagon.  The colors are great for both boys and girls-especially if you have pictures of your kids on their tricylces or getting pulled around in their red wagon. The papers are so fun and have great textures.  Here's a look at the kit.

Eeks! I'm Scared!

So I know tomorrow is Easter but I just finished scrapping my Halloween pictures from last year.   If you are like me who is behind but trying to catch up with scrapping, then I have the perfect Halloween kit for you!  I found this great kit at Digital Scrap Cafe called Eeks!  I'm Scared! by Aprilisa Designs and Pixelily Designs.  It worked perfectly for my Halloween pictures.  Here's a look at the kit.

Fire-Fighter

I'm in the scrapping mode again so I can order up another book for my kids before the sale ends today (not sure if I'm going to make it but we'll see-I also think the sale might be extended given the history of this company's sales).  I had some pictures of my kids at the fire station open house and I found the perfect kit at Digital Scrap Cafe to work with!  Actually there were 2 fire fighter kits and it was hard to chose!  This one is called Fire-Fighter by Catia Cuhna.   It's on sale for $1 right now! How can you pass that up?

Here's my layout. I loved using various fire fighter elements.  I wish I could have used more.

Relax

I'm participating in a contest called the Amazing Digi-Scrapping Race (ADSR).  I'm a huge Amazing Race fan and I thought this contest sounded fun.  Every week there are 2 challenges that we have to complete and the challenges are hosted at various sites throughout digi scrapping land.  Our theme this year is family so the challenges have helped me get some scrapping done!  Last week's challenge was to scrap a page about what we would do without our families for a day.  There were also recipes to use.  I chose the recipe with no pictures and write about visiting a spa for a day.  Here's what I came up with.

I used a gorgeous, zen-like kit called Relax by Three Hearts Digital Designs which can be found at Digital Scrap Cafe.  Here's a look at the kit.

Scraps by Andrea has a new kit out called A Bunny's Tale.  It's such a cute Easter kit!  I love the pastel colors and all the Easter elements.  Unfortunately for me, I'm out of Easter pictures.  I'm sure I'll have some after this weekend but I've already scrapped last year's pictures.  But I was able to use this kit to scrap cute pictures of my daughter! Here's the kit and the coordinating pieces.

Everyday

I have another new kit to show up!  I have to warn you though that I don't have anything else even started yet so it may be a while before you see a new kit from me!  This new kit is called Everyday and I made it for the April Color Challenge at STS which I am hosting!  I love the color palette that I picked but a specific theme didn't jump out at me.  I thought the colors would be good for plain old everyday photos that we all have.  Out of that grew my full size kit and add on called Everyday.

Little Artist

I have a new kit out that I am in love with!  I made a kit to use to scrap all the pictures I have of my kids painting, coloring, and playing with playdoh.  We have yet to use glue, craft materials or markers but I'm sure I'll have those pictures before too long!  This kit is called Little Artist.  It's packed full of art elements: paint brushes, a paint palette, an easel, crayons, crayon boxes, color pencils, a pencil, markers, chalk, glue, popsicle sticks, handprints, paint splatters, pipe cleaners, rubber bands, paper shape cut outs, scissors and even googly eyes!  The papers all have paint textures to them and I think they are a lot of fun!  I hope you will love this kit as much as I do!
