When I saw this palette, I just fell in love with it.  It was going to just be a mini kit but I just kept creating that it turned into a full size kit.  This kit came together in a snap!  I love how it turned out and I hope you will love it too.  My new kit is called Best of Days and it's an everyday kit that is also perfect for vintage/heritage photos.  Take a look at this kit.

Wednesday Tip/Tutorial/Technique: Power of Three

Hey Scrappers
With all the fun going on this week at B2N2 Scraps I thought I would give you one more tip that might inspire a fun layout.
Use 1 photo, the same photo, in 3 ways.

This is the same photo in different sizes. Use of black and white vs color also helps you focus.

Here I used the same photo 3 times but cropped and blew up the photo.

Hope this sparks some creativity. I love the Power of Three!

My latest layouts

As a designer it's hard to scrap sometimes.  I get so caught up in designing that I forget to scrap my own pages!  I'm between design projects right now and I wanted to get some pages done, so I've been scrapping all day yesterday and today!  Here are some of my layouts from this month.

 The above layout is made for the Use It Or Lose It Challenge at STS.  The kit is called Summer Breeze by Digital Harmony Design Studio.  The next page uses my Apple Pickin, Strawberry Pickin and Orchard Fun alphas.  I made this page just yesterday for the BAK challenge.  We went apple picking yesterday morning.

 The above page was made for the color challenge at STS.  This mini is called Kentucky Dreams by Joyful Expressions.  This mini was perfect for my pony riding pictures!  The next layout is for the Mega challenge at STS.  I used Summer Friendship by STS Designers.  I used a template but I don't have the name of the designer, just the initials FPD.  It didn't have a TOU with it!

 I can't remember if I already posted the above layout or not but I figured, why not repost it?!  This was made during a speed scrap and I used my Strawberry Pickin kit as well as the Apple Pickin kit and Orchard Fun alphas.  The next layout is for the template challenge at STS.  The template is by Designs by Snowlady.  The kit is Happy Day by Scraps by Andrea.

 The above layout was made during another speed scrap and uses Start Anew by JMC Designs.  The next layout I know I posted but I wanted to show it again so you can see it bigger (my sister and mom look at my layouts so they like to be able to see my layouts a little bigger!)  This one uses my kit Mani/Pedi.

 And my last 2 layouts.  The top one uses my kits Strawberry Pickin, and Apple Pickin.  I made this during a speed scrap.  I realized I didn't scrap the rest of my raspberry picking pictures so I may need to made this one into a double page spread!  The last layout uses Summer Friendship which is the August STS collab.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my pages!  I scrapped 2 more but I haven't released the kit yet, so you'll have to wait for those layouts!

Play Ball

Shel Belle Scraps is the featured designer this week at Stuff to Scrap.  If you participate in the challenge, you'll earn $3 to her store!  She has a brand new kit out called Play Ball.  She asked some designers if they wanted to guest CT and I jumped at the chance since I needed to scrap pictures of the Cubs game this year. I also have t-ball pictures to scrap.  Here's a look at this MEGA kit (it's huge!).

 I made a double page spread using this kit.  I was perfect for my pictures!
