Halloween Hoopla

Amelia

I have a new kit to tell you about that's called "Amelia" by Shel Belle Scraps. I love the soft colors of this kit and all the feminine/girly elements. You'd think that I would have scrapped a picture of my niece, Amelia, with this kit especially with the purple that's in the kit (Amelia loves purple) but I didn't. I was going to but instead I used the kit for a speed scrap that needed 3 pictures. I didn't have 3 pictures of my niece so I scrapped my daughter's first haircut. Luckily this kit is awesome so I'm sure I'll use it soon to scrap a picture of my niece. Here's a look at Amelia.

Autumn Daydream

Caged Bird Designs just opened her store up at Digital Scrap Cafe. I took a look through it and found this wonderful collab kit called "Autumn Daydream." It has beautiful rich colors and some wonderful fall elements. But you can use this kit for so much more than just fall pictures. Here's a look at the kit.

Butterfly Dreams

Marni Designs has a new kit out today called Butterfly Dreams. It's got gorgeous colors and patterns in it plus some cute butterfly elements that I didn't have the chance to use. I think the best part of this kit are the flowers. They are beyond gorgeous! Here's a look at the kit. It's 25% off right now!

CU Shabby Overlays

The Scrappy Kat has a new set of Shabby Overlays in her store. They are for commercial use. Let me tell you, these overlays are awesome! You're going to see them in a kit I am releasing later this month. They have such great texture to them. You can get a set of 6 overlays for just $2.99. What a fabulous deal!

Challenge

I'm hosting the Brownie Flip Challenge at Brownie Scraps. That's the challenge where you are given a layout and you need to turn it somehow to make it your own. This month I chose a layout that I absolutely love by tinkay2. Here it is. Isn't it gorgeous???
Here's my flip. I don't think it's a good as the original but I still love how it turned out. I made it using Scrappin Daisies' kit In His Element which was only available during the Brownie Bake Sale. I know I showed you this layout already but I wanted to tell you about the challenge.

Here are a couple more layouts that I haven't posted on my blog yet. The first one was for the Use It or Lose It Challenge at Stuff to Scrap from last month. The kit is partly cloudy by Jenasis Designs.
I'm not sure my sister is going to like the title of this one but I think it is fitting. It uses Chasing Butterflies by Scrap Sprinkles Designs. I did it for a speed scrap.
This one was made for one of the weeks of the supreme scrapping challenge. I had to make a layout look like a paper layout. I think I achieved a good paper layout. This one uses Little Whimsy by Jacabean Designs.
This one uses Aquamarine by Marni Designs that was only available during the Brownie Bake Sale.

Rainbow Bridge Charity Collab

Last month The Scrappy Kat's pet poodle passed away after being her companion for 15 years. The designers at Stuff to Scrap got together to create a charity kit where all the proceeds will be donated to The Scrappy Kat's local humane society. This charity collab was inspired by a poem called "Rainbow Bridge" and it's packed full of all different kind of pet animals (and not just the typical ones). It was 148 papers and 325 elements plus 2 alphas! What a huge kit you can get for just $6.99. Here's a look at Rainbow Bridge.

Birthday Girl

Scraps by Andrea is celebrating her birthday and she came up with a fabulous feminine birthday kit called Birthday Girl. I know I always say this but I love the colors and this kit can be used for more than just birthday layouts. I made baby layouts with this kit. Here's a look at Birthday Girl.

New BAK and collab

It's a new month-can you believe it? September seemed to fly by. A new month means a new collab from the Stuff to Scrap Designers. This month's kit is a Halloween themed kit called "Hallowed End." I just love this collab and can't wait to get it and play with it. Here's a peak.

A new month also means new build a kits. I didn't make one this month but I have one to show you from Shel Belle Scraps. I just love her kit "Fall Harvest." It has great fall elements in it. Here's a look at the kit and my layout.
