Snappy

I've got a fabulous kit from AmyDane Designs to tell you about today. I fell in love with the kit called Snappy. I'm a sucker for brown, aqua blue and greens together (add orange and I'm in heaven!)LOL Everything in this kit was so much fun to work with. Here's a look at Snappy. I made a hybrid project using this kit. Last year I created desktop calendars for quite a few members of my family (both men and women) and I used various kits and had to change pages based on whether I was making the calendar for a man or woman. Well, Snappy works well for both men and women so all I had to change were the pictures depending on who I made the calendar for-that made it so much easier and faster!

I scrapped layouts in a 4x6 size using Snappy, added a calendar brush that I downloaded, printed off the layouts as pictures, glued them to cardstock (January on the front, December on the back, etc), used my bind it all to punch holes and bind in, and Voila! my calendar was done! So easy yet with a striking result. Last year I made the stands using random pieces of cardboard from boxes I had laying around. I'm reusing those this year so the calendars were even faster! Here's a look at the calendar put together and it's pages.
