Coming Up Spring

I know spring is past and summer is over half way over but Down This Road Designs has a beautiful kit called "Coming Up Spring." This kit doesn't have to be used for just spring pictures, it'll work for so many different pictures. I just love the colors in this kit, which is why I was drawn to work with it! Here's a look at the kit.

Isn't it pretty? I love the soft colors with the pop of the brighter pinky red. Here are some layouts that I made using this kit. I made the first one for a speed scrap at Brownie Scraps. The second one I made for the journaling challenge. I've been trying to do more 2 page layouts so that I can squeeze more pictures on but I'm not sure I'm good at them.

Funky Baby

Hello! Becky here to tell you about a fun kit from Scrapteam 2008. This kit is called "Funky Baby" and it certainly isn't the traditional baby kit. These papers and elements would add some spice and pizzazz to your baby layouts. Perfect for those moms who might not want traditional pastel colors for their baby's layouts! Watermelon Seeds

Becky Young Designs has a brand new kit out today called "Watermelon Seeds." From the title I bet you can guess the color scheme! Well if you said pinks, greens and blacks, you would be correct but the colors are much more subdued than other watermelon kits I've worked with. This would be a great kit for baby pictures too! I happened to scrap 2 pictures of watermelon events because I had them but there really are so many more uses for this kit than just watermelon! Here's a look at the kit.

Ramona the Pest Designs has created another gorgeous kit with accompanying alpha, templates and word art. This one is called Giggles and Grins. I just love the bright girly colors in this kit. Here are my layouts. The second one is using a template from the collection and it is of my brand new niece who was born last Friday!

Spring Into Summer

I've got a freebie for you today! I had the pleasure of working with a kit called Spring into Summer by Milly Dee Designs who you can now find at Digital Scrap Cafe! This kit has beautiful soft colors in pinks, lilacs, aquas and soft greens. I thought the colors were just gorgeous! There are so many cute springy elements like birds, flowers and trees. Here's the layout that I created of my niece climbing in a tree. I normally don't use tree elements or birds but they were just calling to me and I love how they frame the photo!
