My new releases!

Well I finally finished my kit for this week's Designer Survivor challenge. This week we were each given a color palette, style and theme (we had choices but it was first come first serve). I was not sure about many of the styles so I chose the style paper because I figured I knew what that meant :) I didn't know what I was going to do about dance though. I've had the song "Dancing with Myself" stuck in my head for a while so I decided to take the route of dacing like no one is watching, to be yourself. I was inspired by ribbons of colors. I am so pleased with how it turned out. Here's my kit "Dancin' with Myself."

You can download it at the Brownie Scraps gallery for free until Saturday morning. Saturday morning I will take down the links and add it to my store. Please cross your fingers for me that I make it into the next and final round!

September is here (can you believe it?) and that means a new set of Build a Kits at Stuff to Scrap. This month I was able to participate because I loved the colors and I loved what everyone else did with their kits! I chose to do a piggy bank theme because I didn't think it had been done before! I really love how cute the piggies are! Be on the look out for a girl kit soon. Here's my September BAK: My Piggy Bank (Boy).

September also means another collab kit from the Stuff to Scrap Designers. I loved the colors in this one too. It's called "Back to School Blues." It's that time of year when all the kids return to school (and my husband)! Check out this fabulous kit.

Random Things

There are two speed scraps coming up at Stuff to Scrap this week. One is today hosted by the Scrappy Kat. Check out the flyer and participation prize.

Scraps by Andrea is hosting a Speed Scrap at the STS Forum on Sept. 2nd. The participation prize is an Autumn inspired mini kit called 'Falling'. Hope to see you there!

Tomorrow the voting will open for the 5th week Immunity challenge. Our challenge this week was to create a mini in black and white and no other colors. I've never done too much with black and white so this made me really think! Here's what I came up with. You can download it in the Brownie Scraps gallery. Tomorrow around noon, I'll post the links for voting and I hope you vote for me!

New Kits

The Scrappy Kat has teamed up with Mommy Me Time Scrapper again to bring you a fabulous new kit. This new kit is all about going to kindergarten. The elements and papers are like a felt board that used to be used in classes. This kit is called "Kinder-Story." Here's what it looks like.

Finally, a freebie!

I know I promised you all a freebie this week to celebrate my birthday. Designer Survivor is taking up ALL of my scrapping time plus kit making time. Between when the last challenge ended and the next one began, I was able to get all my CT LOs done plus a mini for you.

I was so inspired by the color challenge at Digi Scrap Obsession (DSO) this month. I decided to use those colors to create a mini for you. So without further ado, I give you my new freebie mini, Adore.

Fun Lovin'

So my sister called to tell me that I need to put some layouts on my blog since I hadn't done so since Sunday. So here are some new layouts for you (can you believe I really haven't done much scrapping???)

Ivory Keys Digital Dreams has a new kit out today called "Fun Lovin." I just loved the bright colors combined with the deep colors. So beautiful! The elements are fun and whimsical as well. Here's what the kit looks like.

Several Things

I have a random assortment of things to tell you about today. First off, I'm in a Designer Survivor competition and I just finished up my kit for this week. The task was to make a monochromatic kit with no CU items. I chose to do blues and call it "Stormy Weather." Here's what it looks like. You have to go to the Brownie Scraps gallery to pick up this kit (plus you can take a look at all the other kits there and download those too!) On Saturday this kit is moving into my store.

Onto the second order of business. Scraps by Andrea is having a sale. Check out the details.

Voting Time!

I know! It's been a few days since I've posted. Well this week's designer survivor challenge is make me do a lot of work! I'm very happy with how my kit (full size!) is turning out, so stay tuned for the link to my kit. You'll actually get quite a few of them!

Billions of Bubbles

My new kit is being released today! I’m so excited about it because I just love bright colors. I was inspired by the colors of bubble bottles. I love walking in stores to the aisle where they have bubbles because they are all so colorful! My new kit is a mega kit called “Billions of Bubbles.” It’s got 22 papers, 48 elements and an upper case alpha with numbers. My creative team did an awesome job with this kit.
