Amelia

I have a new kit to tell you about that's called "Amelia" by Shel Belle Scraps. I love the soft colors of this kit and all the feminine/girly elements. You'd think that I would have scrapped a picture of my niece, Amelia, with this kit especially with the purple that's in the kit (Amelia loves purple) but I didn't. I was going to but instead I used the kit for a speed scrap that needed 3 pictures. I didn't have 3 pictures of my niece so I scrapped my daughter's first haircut. Luckily this kit is awesome so I'm sure I'll use it soon to scrap a picture of my niece. Here's a look at Amelia.

Here are my layouts.

New BAK and collab

It's a new month-can you believe it? September seemed to fly by. A new month means a new collab from the Stuff to Scrap Designers. This month's kit is a Halloween themed kit called "Hallowed End." I just love this collab and can't wait to get it and play with it. Here's a peak.

A new month also means new build a kits. I didn't make one this month but I have one to show you from Shel Belle Scraps. I just love her kit "Fall Harvest." It has great fall elements in it. Here's a look at the kit and my layout.

Scraps by Andrea is having a birthday sale. Check out the flyer for details.

2 More New Kits

My CT bosses were busy with releasing 4 new kits in just a few days of each other! I have 2 new kits to tell you about today. Shel Belle Scraps has a new collab out with Designs by Christi called "Makin' It Funky!" This kit has super fun colors and very retro pattern papers! I'm sure you'll love it. Both Shel Belle Scraps and Designs by Christi have freebie samplers on their blogs. Here's a look at Shel Belle Scraps' portion of this kit.

Here is a layout that I made using just Shel Belle Scraps' portion.

The Scrappy Kat also has another collab with Rainamoon Scraps. This is a freebie collab! That means if you stop by their blogs each day this week, you'll get their whole kits for free! Their collab kit is called "Terrific Twos." Today you get the papers. If you come back to my blog on Thursday, you'll get a freebie QP made with this kit. If you happen to miss a day, no worries! The whole kit is on sale for $2 this week! Here's a look at The Scrappy Kat's portion.
Here's my layout that I made.

Come back tomorrow to see my brand new kit!

Boys & Girls of Summer

The Scrappy Kat and Shel Belle Scraps have teamed up to make a kit called "Boys & Girls of Summer." This kit has bright summer colors and fun outside elements that makes this kit perfect to scrap all those outside playing pictures of your kids. The best part of this kit is that you can get it for FREE! Each day a new part of the kit will be available for you to download. Today you get the papers. All you have to do is go to Shel Belle Scraps' blog and The Scrappy Kat's blog to pick up the pieces. If you can't wait or you don't remember, you can get the kit in each of their stores for just $2 each! Here's a preview of each of their kits. Here are a couple layouts that I made with the kit. The first one uses primarily The Scrappy Kat's portion, the second one uses primarily Shel Belle Scraps' portion and the third one I made during a speed scrap and it uses both of their portions.

I have a small cluster freebie for you. Here's a preview of it.

You can download it HERE. Don't forget to head over to Shel Belle Scraps' blog and The Scrappy Kat's blog to get the papers. They will be available for 24 hours only and then you get the elements tomorrow and the alphas on Wednesday.

Frosty

No I don't mean the yummy treat from Wendy's (although on a hot day like today that would be so good!) Shel Belle Scraps has made several monochromatic kits and I think this one is my favorite! Frosty is a kit made of light blues and silvers. It has snowflakes in it so it works well for winter but there are so many other uses for it too. I imagine it would even work as a summer pool kit. Here's a look at the kit.

Here are a couple layouts I made using Frosty. This week's challenge with This Scrapper's Got Talent at Stuff to Scrap was to create a monochromatic layout with a black and white photo (or sepia-just not a colored photo). I just adore how my layout came out. I love it!

Digi Designs by Nicole has a new template pack out right now-Template Tempation Vol. 8. Use coupon code TTRock to save 30% on your choice of Template Temptation or Value Pack - coupon code valid until Saturday, June 26th and may be used 2 times per customer. What a great deal. Here's a look at the templates.

Scraps by Andrea has a new kit out today called "Someone's In The Kitchen." This kit is perfect for all of those baking or cooking photos you may have or if you like to scrap recipes this kit is perfect! Take a look at this fun kit.
Here are some layouts that I created with this kit. I had so much fun using the cute little cupcake elements and they were perfect for my layouts!

I even made a freebie cluster frame for you from the first layout. Here's a preview.

You can download this freebie cluster frame HERE. Head over to Scraps by Andrea's store to pick up this kit.
Shel Belle Scraps has a freebie on her blog to celebrate Memorial Day. This little mini kit is perfect for all those patriotic pictures or 4th of July pictures you may have. This kit is only free until the morning of Tuesday, June 1st. Here's a look at this mini kit.

Head over to Shel Belle Scraps' blog to pick up this freebie. I managed to whip up a layout using this kit last night. Here's my layout. These are the closest photos I have of my daughter for 4th of July. For some reason we didn't take any pictures commemorating their first 4th of July.

Blossom

Shel Belle Scraps has released a new kit called "Blossom." I've been dying for a really girly kit and I sure got my wish with this kit! Although when I told Shel that she said she didn't intend for it to be super girly! This kit has bright pinks and purples in it and I just love it! When I showed my husband one of the layouts I did with the kit his comment was "that's a lot of pink!" I just loved working with this kit and I'm sure you'll love it too. Here's a preview of the kit.

Isn't it gorgeous! So perfect for all those girl pictures you have. Here are my layouts with this kit. I bet you can guess which one I showed to my husband that lead to his really pink comment! :) Head on over to Shel Belle Scraps' store to pick up this kit.

Mother's Day and Sailing Away

Mother's Day is soon approaching so most of the designers that I'm working for are releasing their Mother's Day kits. Scraps by Andrea has a soft, beautiful Mother's Day kit for you called "Unconditional Love." This kit could also work well for Valentine's Day if you still need to scrap those pictures! Here's a preview of this kit. This kit has glitters and cardstock that accompany them and I found both of them extremely useful when scrapping with this kit.
Here are my layouts that I made. The second one is using a template from Christin's Creations.

I made the first layout into a freebie QP for you. Here's a preview. You can download this QP HERE.
Shel Belle Scraps also has a new kit out today called Sail Away. This one's a MEGA kit. It has tons of papers and elements. The theme of this kit is nautical but there are so many general elements and papers that you could scrap whatever pictures you want with this kit. I scrapped a 4th of July page and another random page. Take a look at this fun kit. Shel was inspired by a pillow that she saw at Target!

Here are the layouts that I made and see not a single sailing element to be seen! This kit is very versatile!
Shel is offering a sampler of Sail Away on her blog. Here's what you'll get. Be patient if it's not up yet, she'll post it sometime today!

A Sale!

Shel Belle Scraps decided last minute that she was going to to have a sale this weekend. All weekend long her products are 25% off. Check out the flyer with all the details.

I recently did a speed scrap and used Shel Belle Scraps' kit called Daddy & Me. I really love the colors in this kit and it was perfect for my pictures of my husband taking the kids for a bike ride. Here's the layout that I made. A lot of kits come with pieces of tape and I never know what to do with them or how to use them. I think I figured it out here!

Two New Releases

The Scrappy Kat and Shel Belle Scraps have brand new kits out today! I'll show you The Scrappy Kat's kit first.

The Scrappy Kat and Digi Designs by Nicole teamed up to make a great kit called "Hippie Chick." It's very retro and fun! The colors are so rich. Here's a preview of the kit. Doesn't it look like fun? You can get it here.

Here's a layout that I made using this kit. My sister bought us a crawling tunnel at a garage sale and my kids love to crawl through it and play peek a boo with each other through it. Even though this kit is called "Hippie Chick," there's no reason you can't scrap boys with this kit too!

I made a freebie QP for you. Here's the preview of the QP. I didn't have a picture that fit in this layout, so I don't have a layout with a picture to show you. I just loved this brown/blue flower paper that I just had to use it! The download link will be at the end of this post. I want to make sure you read the rest of this post! :) ***Sorry, link epxired***

Now onto the new kit by Shel Belle. Shel Belle Scraps and SAHM Scrapper got together to make an awesome, bright and fun kit called "Spring Fun." The colors are so much fun! I just love the bright purplish/pink color! Here's a preview of the kit (Shel Belle's portion).

What's another great thing about this kit is that you can get it for free. You can pick up the papers on the 22nd, the elements on the 23rd, the alpha on the 24th and the QPs on the 25th. You have to stop by Shel Belle's Scraps' blog and SAHM Scrapper's blog each day because their links will only be active for 24 hours!

Here are two layouts that I made using this kit. The first one is using a template from Designs by Sweet Mesquite from her All Clustered Up pack. The second one I made into a QP for you. But you can't get it today. You have to wait!
