More July BAKS

Happy Independence Day to all my readers in the U.S!  Have you celebrated yet?  We had our fireworks last night.  Make sure to head over to my store at STS and at Brownie Scraps because the sales end today!

The Scrappy Kat has some great pieces for this month's BAKs (build a kits) at Stuff to Scrap.  She has an element set called Tillin' Time and another called Tractor Time.  My son is OBSESSED with tractors!  I've scrapped all of my tractor pictures (too bad we don't live on a farm because he would be in heaven!) but we just went strawberry picking and there was an old tractor there.  Perfect photo opportunity!  Here's a look at her pieces.  Each image is linked to the store.

Aren't those great gardening/farming pieces?  Here's what I did with these kits.  If you put the layouts together they make a 2 page spread.  I still need to scrap pictures of my kids eating the strawberries because they were so cute doing it!

Starting tomorrow, you can use a coupon code to save half if you buy 3 or more BAKs.  Here's the flier for more details.

A new month

A new month means all sorts of new goodies.  It means a new store collab, a new CU grab bag and new BAKs.  This month's BAKs are all based around sleep overs or slumber.  The color palette had both boy and girl colors in it. Remember if you buy 3 pieces and use the coupon code on the flier you can save half!
The Scrappy Kat has 3 pieces for this month's BAKs.  She focused her kit around a boy's sleepover.  It's called Boy's Night.  Here are the look at the pieces.  They are all linked to the store.

Now I have no sleepover photos-my kids are too young for that.  But that didn't mean that I couldn't use the kit.  The papers and elements are general boy enough that you can use this to scrap just about any boy picture.  I scrapped a picture of my son while I was potty training.  I did it for the journaling birthday challenge.
The CU grab bag is packed full of all great CU products by the STS designers.  You should check it out!

The collab is all about the men in your life specifically the fathers in your life.  It's called Hello Father and the colors are quite masculine.

More May BAKs

The Scrappy Kat has put together 3 pieces for the May BAKs this month.   She has a worn paper paper, a paper pack and an element pack.  Her theme is summer sports- so you get a little bit if everything in these packs!  Here are her packs.

Here's my layout that I made for this month's template challenge at STS.  I love to make double page layouts but I never know how to make them look different.  I tend to make my pages symmetrical.  I love that this one isn't!

I forgot to tell you yesterday about the new Cu grab bag and the new collab.  Here are the previews that are linked to the store.  This month's collab is awesome!

The Scrappy Kat and Seal Scraps teamed up to make another steampunk collab called Punked.  If you're into steampunk these kits are for you.  They'll be 40% off for one week.  Here's a look at the kits.

Here's my layout.
I made it into a freebie QP for you.  You can download HERE.

2 new kits

I have 2 new kits to tell you about today.  One is a collab between The Scrappy Kat and Mommy Me Time Scrapper.  The second is by one of STS's newest designers, MDK Scraps.  I have a freebie with both of them!

The Scrappy Kat and Mommy Me Time Scrapper teamed up to create an Easter kit called Bunny Trail.  It's perfect for Easter photos which you will have before you know it!  Here's a look at the kit (if you visit The Scrappy Kat's store, you'll find a freebie!) which is 40% off!  Wow-that's a great sale!
Here's my layout.

I made a freebie cluster frame for you.  You can download HERE.
The next kit I have to show you today is one my MDK Scraps and it's called Hello Spring.  MDK Scraps was asking for guest CTs and I just loved the colors in this kit so I had to help her out!  This kit is so fun and bright and very springy.  I sure wish it would feel more springy around here!  This kit will be on sale for $2 until Wednesday.
Here's my layout.  Unfortunately I'm relatively caught up with scrapping my pictures and so I have no spring pictures since we have yet to experience spring around here.  But I still found something that would work!

I also made a freebie cluster frame for you using this kit.  You can download HERE.

April BAKs

The April Build a Kits at Stuff to Scrap are great kits this month if you have boys!  The theme is "Denim and Dirt."  I didn't have time to make any pieces but there are great pieces out there!   I worked with pieces from The Scrappy Kat and Scraps by Andrea.  Here are a look at the pieces from The Scrappy Kat.

Here's a layout I made using pieces from the various kits by The Scrappy Kat.
Here's a look at the kits that Scraps by Andrea has put together.

Here's a layout I made using pieces from these kits by Scraps by Andrea.
