Another freebie QP

It's a new month which means you get 2 more freebie QPs from me from the designers at Digital Scrap Cafe. I chose to work with a kit called Brand New by Bare Bones Scraps. I really liked this kit because it works for either boy or girl babies. So it's perfect for me with twins- a boy and a girl. This kit has journaling tags for specific months (which I love the idea of, I just didn't add them to the QP!) plus so many cute baby elements. Here's a preview of this kit.

I've already made 2 layouts using this kit. One was for the scraplift challege at Digital Scrap Cafe. The other one was the layout that I used to make your freebie QP. Here are my LOs.

I just noticed how completely different they are and how I wouldn't have thought they were using the same kit! Here's the preview of the QP that you will be getting. I left off the word art for you. This link will only be valid for 1 week so go grab this QP now and then head over to Bare Bone Scraps' store at Digital Scrap Cafe to pick up this kit!

New freebie kit from Just Jaimee

I haven't had the chance to do much work for Just Jaimee lately. She came out with 2 kits right before we left on a our mini trip. One is a freebie mini kit on her blog which you can get here. The other is a full kit in her store at Divine Digital. I'll be downloading that one soon and creating layouts with so keep an eye out for that. Her new freebie mini kit is called Do What You Love. It has some really cool elements that work well under pictures and as part of the background. Here's a peek at the kit.

Here's a layout that I made using this kit. It's a different style for me but I love the layout!

Thanks for stopping by!

A new mini kit

I was going to post today about a new kit from Marni Designs but so far it hasn't hit to store, so you're just going to have to wait a little while longer! It's worth waiting for!

Since it's April, that means a new color challenge (and lots of other new challenges too). I got inspired right away by the color challenge at Stuff to Scrap. When I saw the colors I immediately thought of primary colors and primary kids. I wanted to do a kit with crayons and things that looked like they were colored in with crayons. This is the first time that I've done the elements first and then tried to figure out the papers! Generally the papers are the ones that are the easiest! Here is my freebie mini kit. It's called Color My World. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment to tell me what you think of it.

You can download it HERE. When you use it, post your layout at Stuff to Scrap in the color challenge gallery so I can see what you did with my kit!

Freebie!

Well, I'm happy to say that my team in Brownie Olympics won the gold medal in Event 4!!! I'm super excited. Thanks so much for voting for me! I'm also happy to say that I got the most votes!!! Again, thank you so much for voting for me. As promised, I have a freebie for you to thank you for voting for me. If my team wins gold in Event 5, I'll have another freebie for you. Nothing like bribery, right? Since I got the most votes for my "Hey, I'm working here" layout, I decided to make it into a template for you all. Here's the preview.

You can download it HERE. I'd love to see what you do with it.

Easter

We just got back from visiting my brother in Nashville. I came back to find in my inbox a fun Easter kit that Scraps by Andrea just whipped up! I decided I would scrap the photos that we took while in Nashville celebrating Easter. My kids did not really care for hunting Easter eggs but I made them do it anyways just to get photos! What we do to get pictures, right? Here's my layout of them hunting Easter eggs.

I love this kit because it has traditional pastel Easter colors in it. Whenever I think of Easter, I think of light pink, blue, yellow, green and purple. I also love the fun little elements in this kit, especially the little chicks which unfortunately I wasn't able to work into this layout. Here's a preview of the kit which you can pick up HERE.

I'll be back later today with a freebie template and I'll tell you why you all get a freebie!

Mr. Fix It

So I joined another Creative Team. This time I'm really done. No more! I just had to join this one because I adore Scraps by Andrea's kits. They are just so cute and fun! I am so excited to be on this team! Andrea is going to keep me busy.

Scraps by Andrea has a new kit out today called Mr. Fix It. I really love the colors in this kit and it can be used for so many photos. I was able to scrap 2 pages of my son. In one of them he is actually wearing a hard hat so this kit was just perfect! You can find Scraps by Andrea here at Stuff to Scrap. Here's a preview of the kit.

Here are my layouts. Aren't they so much fun?

I've made the first one into a freebie QP for you. Head over to Scraps by Andrea's store and pick up this fun kit! ***Sorry, link expired***

Who Built the Ark?

I'm so excited about this kit! I posted a color palette and theme suggestion over at Stuff to Scrap last year based on the colors in my nursery. I did a Noah's Ark theme nursery since I was having twins. One of my husband's friends came over and painted animals (two by two of course) around the room for us. If I say so myself, my nursery is pretty cute! Anyway, back to digital scrapbooking. The Scrappy Kat and Mommy Me Time Scrapper decided to team up to make a Noah's Ark theme kit using my color palette. It's a HUGE kit filled with so many cute animals. It can be used for so many purposes. Here's a preview of the kit. You can pick up this kit at The Scrappy Kat's store.

So far I've made two layouts (I only got the kit 2 days before I was leaving for a short trip) but I intend to make more. Here are my two layouts that show off my nursery. Too bad it never looks this clean any more! Right now we have books strewn all over the floor!

But wait, there's more! I have a freebie for you! This time it's a brag book page. Here's what it looks like.***Sorry, link expired***
