New Release: Trucks and Tractors

If your kids are anything like my kids (both my son AND daughter), they love trucks and construction equipment.  We call them all diggers.  We have started to call them by their appropriate names now that my kids are a little older.  We have gone to so many touch a truck events that I needed a kit to scrap all the pictures.  I called my kit Trucks and Tractors.  There is a free sampler this month only, a construction element pack and a quick page pack!  Here's a look at Trucks and Tractors and all the pieces that go along with it.

Want to see some creative team inspiration?  Take a look!  Some of my CT members commented that they loved this kit because they had so many Touch a Truck event pictures to scrap as well!

I have a freebie for you from my CT member Kandi.

You can download HERE.  If you want another freebie from this kit, make sure you sign up for my newsletter!

Sunday Review

Instead of showing you the kit that I released on Thursday, I wanted to show you that I combined all the June BAK pieces and put them into a full size kit called Beyond the Sea.  Take a look.

Let's look back at a few CT layouts for inspiration.   I love how Laura used a pattern paper for the background.  I always try to do that and never get it to look right!

I love the little scene that Kandi created at the bottom of her page.

I like how Theresa also used a pattern paper for the background and how she incorporated the alpha.

Dannethia has made a freebie for you using Beyond the Sea.

B2N2 Scraps GSO's

Today I  would like to show off a couple of layouts that I found in B2N2 Scraps designer gallery.

The first layout is by Yep2psp using "Gentle Summer Breeze". I chose this layout because of the use of circles for the photos as well as the clustering. I am a huge clustering fan. I also like the use of the swirls on the kite. It really gives it the feel of breeze swirling around.

Layout is linked to the gallery. Swing by the gallery and leave some love.

The second layout I chose is by cylynn. I chose this layout because of the offset of the top background paper and clustering. I also like the offset of the stamp style frame on the bottom photo.

I have linked this layout to the gallery as well. Leave these ladies some love for their great layouts.

Now we have 2 layouts by Lauren.

Wednesday Tips/Tutorials

Finding a Layer in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements

When you are working on a document with a number of layers and you want to select a certain layer, you could switch to the Move tool, hunt for, and click on the layer. But you can save time and effort when you are working with a different tool by simply pressing Ctrl Alt Click (Mac: Cmd Opt Click) on the image. The layer under the spot that you click will be automatically selected. You’ll see it highlighted in the Layers panel.

So if you are using a tool like Dodge or Burn or the Brush tool to make adjustments to several photos on a page, for example, you won’t have to change tools and search for the next photo. Just Ctrl Alt Click (Cmd Opt Click) to select it quickly and continue your adjustments.
